What is the minimum amount of people I need to reserve the dining area?

There is NOT a minimum headcount required.  The reserved dining area is reserved based on revenue per hour, a.k.a "revenue guarantee".    Depending on day of the week and time of day, a minimum expenditure is required.

Is there a rental charge for the reserved dining area?

No.  The reserved dining area is available based on a minimum expenditure aka "revenue guarantee".

What do you mean by "minimum expenditure"?

"Minimum expenditure", aka "revenue guarantee", simply means that your group/party must generate a minimum amount of revenue per hour EXCLUDING tax and gratuity.  This minimum expenditure is based on the weekday, time, and hours you wish to reserve the area.  This amount can NOT be altered after reservation.

What are the minimum expenditurE requirements per day?

Sunday thru Thursday evening (after 5pm): $100/hr - 2 hour minimum

 

Friday and Saturday evening (after 5pm): $200/hr - 2 hour minimum

 

Monday - Thursday lunch (ends before 5pm): $100/hr - 2 hour minimum

 

Friday - Sunday Lunch (ends before 5pm): $150/hr - 2 hour minimum

 

Minimum increases on holidays.  i.e. New Year's Eve, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Graduation Dates

What if I reserve the area and my party does not meet the "minimum expenditure"?

Your minimum expenditure is calculated based on the day of the week, time of your event (dinner or lunch), and number of hours of your reservation.  

 

After you have reserved the area, the restaurant no longer accepts calls regarding your date and time.  Therefore, you are locked into the minimum expenditure at the time of booking. 

 

If your group/party does not meet the "minimum expenditure", you will be required to purchase Beto's Gift Cards in the difference for future use.  Our hospitality host will assist you with all your needs, including the revenue assessment of your party.

What seating times are available?

We offer open seating times throughout the year.  However, holiday and graduation season, we offer two seating times of 5:30pm | 7:30pm

Mother's Day 2024 - 12 noon to 2pm ONLY. 

 

Please note 7:30 pm seatings are only available on Friday and Saturday.  Our latest seating time on Sunday - Thursday is 5:30pm.

I just need a place to meet.  We do not plan to eat.  Can I still rent the reserved dining area?

Yes.  The purchase of Beto's Gift Cards in the amount of the "minimum expenditure" is required.

Our function is outside your standard business hours.  Is the reserved dining area area and/or restaurant still available?
 

Yes.  The restaurant is available for breakfast or brunch functions for large corporate groups.  Higher "minimum expenditure" may be required.

What menu/food is served?
 

Our reserved dining area dinners are set up as a "family style" dinner, i.e. "buffet style" with service.  Your guests will serve themselves.  We do NOT offer open menu options in our "reserved dining" area.

 

We believe that the fajita bar provides your guests with the most efficient service. $19.99/PERSON + tax and 23% gratuity.  Please note that the setup is "buffet" style and NOT an all-you-can-eat.  Tea and water urns are included.  Soft drinks are NOT included.  We do NOT accept reservations in our main dining.

 

Items included in Fajita Bar:  

  • Combo fajitas with sauteed onions and bell peppers

  • Refried beans and Mexican rice

  • Flour tortillas (three per person)

  • Homemade Guacamole, Pico de gallo, Sour cream, Cheese

  • Homemade Chips and Salsa

  • Unsweet Tea and Water 

 

Please note that food and beverages will be served in disposable ware.   Soft drinks are NOT included.

 

We understand some guests might have special dietary needs.  Your server will personally work with them to build an entree that meets their needs.  Please note that all entrees are priced at $17.99.  Soft drinks not included.

Will I run out of food?

The amount of food is based on the pre-stated headcount you provided before the event.  In the event you have more guests than anticipated, then you may purchase food for the extra guests.  

 

Your guests must understand that it is NOT an "all you can eat" buffet.  If your guests serve themselves multiple plates, then you may run the risk of being short.  Please note that food and beverages will be served in disposable ware.

Do I need to tell you exactly how many guests will be attending?

Yes.  The amount of food prepared and your bill will reflect your pre-stated headcount.  Don't stress, you don't need to know the exact headcount at the time of booking (just give your best guess).  However, we will need your final pre-stated headcount two days before your event.  Please note that food and beverages will be served in disposable ware.

We have a few guests that have special dietary needs, can you accommodate them?

Yes.  Our hospitality host and/or server will provide alternate menu options for your special request guests before your event. 

 

Please note, to avoid confusion, your server will NOT provide any guest with a “regular” menu.   Please note that food and beverages will be served in disposable ware. 

 

Your server will gladly verbally take requests and/or make suggestions.  All items, without regard to “regular” menu pricing,  will be billed at $17.99.

We have children attending, are they billed as adults?

Yes.  Your server will bill your guests individually for their bar tabs.

Can I request separate checks for food?

No.  However, you may request a cash bar (separate checks for alcohol), but the food bill must be paid as one check by the host.

I am hosting a "shower", do you have special packages? SATURDAYS ONLY.

Yes.  For "shower" events we offer finger food packages starting as low as $12.95+tax and 23% gratuity per person.

 

Finger Food Package includes:

- An "un-stationed" tea urn.  Soft drinks are NOT included.

- Two chicken flautitas

- Two chicken quesadillas pieces

- Chips and salsa

- Chile con Queso

- Homemade Guacamole

  

"Shower" pricing is based on a 'buffet style' setup with disposable ware and disposable cups.

Please note that “shower” packages are billed on a quoted, pre-stated head count. Gratuity is applicable.  Your hospitality host will contact you two days before your event to obtain your final pre-stated headcount.

Is a deposit required to reserve the reserved dining area?

Yes.  A $100 deposit for a standard two-hour reservation.  Additional hours require an additional $50 for each additional hour of reserved time. 

 

Deposits for Holiday reservations (i.e New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day) and certain dates (i.e. graduation, Cindo de Mayo) vary depending on Holiday and are non-refundable.

Is my deposit refundable?

If you cancel your reservation (by email) at least 21 calendar days out, you will receive a full refund.

 

If you cancel your reservation (by email) at least 14 days out, your full deposit will converted to Beto's Gift Cards.

 

Deposits for peak season events (Xmas, New Year, Mother's Day, Graduation) are NON refundable. 

 

If you cancel your reservation within 14 days, your deposit is will NOT be refunded.

 

Holiday reservations (November and December) deposits and certain designated dates (i.e. Graduation, New Year's Eve, Cinco de Mayo, etc.) are NOT refundable or convertible.

May I come early to decorate?

Maybe.  If there is not a scheduled reservation prior to your event, you may arrive 30 minutes early to decorate.  Beto's Mexican Restaurant does not assist in any decorating.

 

Due to last-minute "bookings”, we can not guarantee you early access to the reserved area.  We will inform you immediately if you will not have an opportunity to arrive early.

My party is formal.  Do you offer table linen/napkin rentals?

Yes.  We have black or cream table linens and napkins available for rent at a cost of $5.00/black and $4.00/cream per table linen.  One week advanced notice required.  Rental minimum of 20 table linens is required.  Our hospitality host will advise you on the quantity you will need.

I have a cake, may I bring it?  Should I bring my own dessert plates?  Do I need to be prepared to cut it?

Yes, you may provide your own store purchased cake.  We will store your cake in our cooler upon request.  We do not provide plate ware and/or utensils for outside desserts.  To focus on the service of your party, our staff does not cut cake.

May I bring in outside food?
