Dear Valued Guest,
On Monday, April 27, Gov. Abbott issued an order allowing restaurants to open their dining rooms to 25% capacity beginning Friday. We received the announcement with mixed emotions. While we are excited to see a path to economic recovery, it was tempered with the reality of health and safety.
Many of you know that my seventy-five year old father, co-founder of Betos, is a fixture on the dining room floor. Beto’s has, and will always be, a family business first. We are privileged to have shared our journey with staff members that have provided decades of loyal service. The safety of my family and staff is paramount.
Therefore, we will delay the opening of our dining room. We will closely monitor the advice of our trusted health officials and re-evaluate our operations in the coming weeks.
We will be making a few minor modifications to our current model of curbside/takeout ordering.
1. We will open our patio for in-person ordering of takeout and provide beverage service while you wait. Please note, we will not allow the consumption of food on the patio. We do request that you “surrender” your table when your take out order arrives.
2. Exercising social distancing, we will allow you to “tailgate” in the parking lot. If you choose to tailgate, please choose a parking spot that is not designated “curbside pick-up”,
Out of an abundance of caution, we will not provide menus. We invite you to visit www.eatatbetos.com for our complete menu.
We look forward to the day we can enjoy your company without restrictions.
Thank you,
Albert Sanchez
