  • Yes!  Isn’t it great.  At 9 pm we begin to reserve the bar and the “dance” area for your guests.  At 10 pm we reserve the remainder of the restaurant for your guests.  Please note that we allow our guests “the public” to enter until 10pm.

  • Yes, of course.  What kind of party would it be if someone in your group didn’t bring back the “moonwalk”?  You will have approximately 150 sq ft. of dedicated “boot scootin” dance area.

What do you mean by "minimum expenditure"?
  • "Minimum expenditure" simply means that your party, (not just you), must generate a minimum amount of revenue per hour excluding tax and gratuity.

What are the "minimum expenditure" requirements?
  • Sunday thru Thursday evening (after 9pm): $200/hr - 3 hour minimum
  • Friday and Saturday evening (after 9pm): $300/hr - 3 hour minimum

Do you require a pre-stated headcount?
  • Kind of.  Primarily to help us staff before your event technically begins.  There is always a percentage of your guests that will arrive early to dine.  The bigger the party, the bigger that number is.  However, since we are not a full service restaurant after your event begins, it is not a “deal breaker”.

Do you require a pre-stated “end” time?
  • Yes.  You must tell us in advance that you would like the restaurant until midnight, 1am, or 2am.  Your deposit and minimum expenditure required will be formulated from this stated “end” time.

What time is “last call”?
  • Our bartenders will call “last call” 45 minutes before your stated “end” time.  We will allow a 15 window to order drinks and an additional 15 minute window for consumption.  The last 15 minutes is dedicated to closing tabs and the gradual exit of your guests.

Will your bartenders still “ID” my guests even though it’s a private party?
  • Yes.  Yes.  and Yes.  So unless you’re celebrating your 50th high school reunion, be prepared to dish out the ID.  Sorry, the salt and pepper hair just won’t cut it.  Ok, that’s a little over board.  On a serious note, our staff will use their same judgement as they do with the general public.

May I hire my own DJ?
  • Yes.  We’ll allow your DJ to “stage” ,a.k.a store, his equipment in a private room before your event begins (if available).  For safety reasons, we do not allow your DJ to begin his setup until 10pm.  Other than an electrical outlet, we do not provided assistance or supplies to third party contractors.
  • We may provide you with DJ services upon request.  Our hourly fee is $125 with three hour minimum.  Payment in full is due at booking.

What time is last song?

  • We require DJs to play their last song 10 minutes prior to your stated “end” time.

What if I don’t hire a DJ, what “tunes” will play?

  • Barry Manilow’s greatest hits.  Just kidding.  You can “hook up” your Ipod, Ipad, Iphone, or any other gadget to our sound system to play your own customized playlist.  However, our sound system was not intended for this use, so the service of a DJ is recommended.

I need the restaurant before 9 pm, is that possible?

  • Yes, however the minimum expenditure for every hour before 9pm is $1,500.00.  So we obviously encourage our guests to start their party at 9pm or later.

Do you offer a cash bar?

  • Yes.  The majority of our events are hosted as a cash bar.  That simply means that your guests are responsible for their own tabs.

Do you offer an open bar?

  • Of course!  If you have the budget, we’ll help you spend it.  Open bar simply means that you, the host, is paying for the entire tab.  We guarantee you’ll be very popular, at least that night.

Is there anything “in between” a cash bar and open bar?

  • Yes.  It is common for hosts to choose an open bar for a set amount of time.  i.e.  the first hour of the event.  Or, you can choose an open bar to a set dollar amount, i.e. pay the first $500.
  • When either the time or set dollar amount has expired, our bartenders will inform your guests that the “gravy train” has parked, and they're on their own.

Do you offer any drink specials?

  • No.  However, the host may choose to subsidize a specific beverage.  It’s like buying down the interest rate on your mortgage.  Huh?  Ok, call us and we’ll be happy to explain.

What if I reserve the restaurant and my party does not meet the "minimum expenditure"?

  • In the event that your party does not meet the "minimum expenditure", you will be required to purchase Beto's Gift Cards in the difference for future use.  Our hospitality host will assist you with all your needs, including revenue assessment of your party.  If our host feels that your party may not meet the required "minimum expenditure", you will be advised so.  Hosts are required to provide a credit card before event.

There is a good chance, OK, great chance that some of my guests will need a hotel room.  Are there any close by?

  • Yes.  We have a two hotels within walking distance.  ( 5 minute walk)

Is security personnel required?

  • At our discretion, we may require host, at host’s sole expense, provide uniformed Grand Prairie police officers for the last three hours of the event.  We may require one uniformed officer per 50 - 100 guests and one additional officer per 100 guests.

  • If required, we will hire off-duty officers on your behalf.  Payment for security is due in full at time of booking.  Standard rate for an off-duty officer is $35/hr.  Hourly rate subject to change.

Do you require a deposit to reserve the restaurant?

  • Yes.  $150 for a standard three hour reservation and $50 for each additional hour of reserved time.  A 100% refund is provided if reservation is canceled (by email) at least 14 calendar days out.  In the event you cancel within 14 calendar days of your reservation, 100% of your deposit will be converted to Beto's Gift Cards for your future use.

How late may I reserve the restaurant?

  • As a late-night permit holder, we are able to serve your guests until 2 a.m (minus last call time).

How late does the kitchen stay open?

  • Our kitchen closes at 10 p.m.  We encourage hosts to invite their guests to come in early if they would like to dine with us.  To ensure the best possible service for your guests, we seat all guests per our standard rotation.  What?  That just means that there is no designated area for your guests prior to your reserved time.

  • Yes.  We have finger food packages starting as low as $ 6.95 per person , includes non-stationed tea urn for all guests.  (See below)

I have a cake, may I bring it?  Should I bring my own dessert plates?  Do I need to be prepared to cut it?

  • Yes, you may provide your own cake.  We will store your cake in our cooler upon request.  We do not provide plate ware and/or utensils for outside desserts and require our guests to provide their own disposable dessert plates.  To focus on the service of your party, our staff does not cut cake.

  • Call 972-660-1289 and ask to speak with the hospitality host to confirm availability of date.  He will confirm availability and answer any questions you may have.
